The old pavilion of the Boughton & Eastwell Cricket Club was outdated and lacked essential amenities, such as hot water & heating, rendering it unfit for purpose. After many years of fundraising, the Club has now replaced this with a modern, attractive timber pavilion on the same site.
This new facility aims to serve not only the cricket club, but also the broader community by providing a space for local clubs, groups, and events. Interested parties should contact the secretary by email.
Thank you to all our members, supporters and donors who have made this possible. The Club had an official 'opening' for the new pavilion on 18th July 2026, with a ribbon cutting by Johnnie Brooks and Vic Lilley in front of around 100 members and many invited guests. The pavilion was dedicated to the memory of Mike Carney, a previous club secretary, whose vision the new pavilion was.

The Next stage...
With the new pavilion fully open, the next stage for the Club is to replace the outdoor practice net facilities. It is hoped a new two-lane practice net can be fundraised and installed for next season. This will require considerable fundraising efforts and a new Crowdfunder page is 'open' to accept any donations.
We aim to raise at least £10,000, to benefit from Sport England match funding.
